I pray that all is well with you and that God continues to bless each one.

I believe, my friends, that as you pray and are inspired by the Holy Spirit, God will provide a way financially. Make the commitment and watch God work! Heaven is a place where blessings are stored, waiting for the windows of Heaven to open so God can pour out the things you need. He can’t wait. Give and ye shall receive. Test Him – He’s all set. Are you?

Well, I have several things to tell you. I’ll do the best I can with the info I have.

Dates of the trip: February 14th the main group leaves Hartford at 6:00 am and arrives in Miami at 9:10 am; departs Miami at 11:56 am and arrives in TGU (Tegucigalpa), Honduras. We will return to Hartford February 28th at 11:15 pm. Those of you departing from other airports will have different schedules.

Cost of trip: Several people have asked what it will cost. As soon as I return from my pre-trip, which is October 17th, I will have all the facts. Let me tell you that the trip will be around $1,500. Please do not hold me to this amount. It’s a guideline to help you set your budget.

Payments: Please send your deposit now. I have already reserved seats on A.A. and have paid the deposit. Send me $100.00 ASAP to confirm your spot. Some want to pay on a budget so let me give you some idea.

Oct. 10th - deposit in - $100 Dec. 31st $200

Oct. 31st 200 Jan. 15th 200

Nov. 15th 200 Jan. 31st 200

Nov. 30th 200 Feb. 15th – balance, if any.

Dec. 15th 200

I hope this will help. As I have done for several years, I have extended payments till June, if that helps your budget, as long as I have the majority of money before the trip. Let me know your individual circumstance and I will do what I can. I really want all of your to go. Again, please do not hold me to the cost.

Needs: Needs are great, as always. The money you pay for the trip only covers part of the cost. I need help. Please, those of you who can help with money for Bibles, I suggest this - $40.00 will buy 10 good Bibles. I’ll call it the “Bible Pack”. I would like to buy 400 Bibles. That would take 40 Bible Packs. Let me know what you can do. Time is coming to an end. Buildings will burn when Christ returns, but God’s Word in the hearts of those who desire to hear will last through eternity.

Medicine: Med Packs are still the way. $450.00 will buy a Med Pack consisting of $3,000-5,000 worth of medicine. We also buy thousands of vitamins for adults and children. These needs are great. I would like to raise $6,000.00 for Meds – 6 Med Packs and the balance for vitamins, GI meds., cough, cold, and allergy meds, pain relievers, etc. Please let your physician know you are going and your needs. I have a list of meds that we need. Let me know and I’ll fax it to your doctor’s office. We can do this through Dr. Kellerman’s office for legal reasons.

Building supplies: Such as blocks, concrete, roofing material, wood, etc. We will have to raise this money. Some of the money is included in your mission fee. We will need approximately $4,000.00 more. Ask your church board, friends, relatives, etc. to see if they will help sponsor this project. God has people ready to give. All we need to do is ask.

This money for the above needs can be pledged over time. Let me know soon.

I believe, also, that now is a hard time to give. So much is going on is this country, especially with all the hurricane and flood damage in the South. I know and believe that lots of you have given for these disasters and God will bless you for your efforts. Now is the time to provide for others who want to be touched, touched by taking care of these medical needs, touched by taking care of these building needs, but most of all, provide them with the opportunity to see God’s people at work and tell them about Jesus. These buildings are only a platform for us to use as we witness for Jesus and spread the Gospel message.

You have heard enough from me for now. I will pray for your decisions and your financial needs. Our church has a prayer team led by a special friend of ours and will start praying right away.
