Mission 2001 Newsletter #2
Seasons Greetings of love,

Less than 30 days till departure and the excitement is building. The Lord has been faithful as always and He has been raining showers of blessings.
After my last email telling about the need for more med packs, two people have contacted us and have each paid for one entirely. One hundred dollars was also sent in with the specific request for it to go towards the playground equipment. You can't out give the Lord. It keeps returning multiplied.
Dr. Beisiegel hauled another truckload of dental equipment to the New Hampshire dock last week. It will be on its way to Honduras soon. It is amazing how much equipment is being donated.
Louise Gai works at a hospital with an anesthesiologist that also does mission work. This fellow has a basement full of donated equipment and supplies from hospitals that have closed. After finding out about our trip he had Bob and Louise come to his house and “shop” his basement. Bob told me this fellows love for service just poured out of him. He was so happy to meet Bob and said that now he knows where all his extra equipment can go. He even had an operating table we could have if we wanted to rent a forklift to come and carry it out. That is not something we will be able to use this time. But you never know where the Lord will lead next.
The donated glasses have now been read and bagged. Dr. Galt not only brought four of his church members to help our staff with the work, but then he went and donated at least a hundred more glasses. We now have over two thousand pairs, just waiting to bless someone.
The Wagner family has thought of several different ways for fund raising to get the four of them to Honduras. Jordan and Ashley Wagner just did a bike ride for Honduras. They were able to get many local merchants and neighbors to sponsor them and biked for close to 100 miles! Oh, to be young again. Ashley also did a wonderful music concert, which blessed everyone that came. I am afraid that being young again wouldn't help me in the musical gift category. I will have to come up with something else!

Have a wonderful Holiday season and remember this; Jesus will always love you best!

Because He lives, I smile,

Jennifer Young
