Mission 2006
Our mission of February, 2006 was to build a community service building In Valle de Angeles, Honduras. Where people will be able to come and receive food and clothing that have been donated by other church members. It will be a 2 story building and will serve the area nicely. We also worked on upgrading and fixing all the water systems in the Adventist Hospital where we also lived for our 2 weeks in Honduras. While there we saw over 3,600 people in our medical, Dental and Optical clinics. An evangelistic meeting was held for 5 nights in the town circle with the average attendance being over 100 people each night. Also held at the same time and just a block away was a dynamic children's program. An average of 75 children came each night to that. This year we also held an extremely successful youth outreach in which many young adults gave their life to Christ. Radio broadcast geared at the youth and programs that were put on especially for the local orphanage were other highlights of this trip. Ours lives are richer for the service given to others and we wait expectantly for the next mission challenge.
